I had a realization the other day. I got an e-mail that this blog had a new comment. Great! I thought… Another troll.
Low and behold it was my wife. Beautiful, thoughtful, and a lover of vinyl.
My problem here is that what should have been a wonderful little moment is completely ruined by the fact that I’ve had to spend days responding or filtering troll comments in the past.
When I type something rather long I actually have to set up hours dedicated to not doing my actual job or what I’d like to be doing, but responding to comments or moderating trolls.
This has dramatically changed my decisioning process about whether or not I even share what I produce.
For the time being. I’m removing comments and leaving these little share icons for things I hope you find valuable.
